Coal
Valley Vineyard Wine
2007
Riesling
Typical
of the Rieslings we prefer, the 2007 vintage is crisp, elegant, dry and
aromatic, reflecting the cool climate growing conditions that allow for
the development of exceptional aromas and flavours during the gradual
ripening period. Clear and bright with fresh steely lime aromas. Beautifully
balanced with a lemon/lime palate that lingers.

Rating 5 BOTTLES - FABULOUS
COAL VALLEY VINEYARD 2007 RIESLING
"This is a cracker - juicy, lime-flavoured, fresh and vibrantly crisp,
flinty, mouth puckering dry, refreshingly clean and a finish that goes
forever, holding the promise of even better things after a few years in
the cellar."
2006
Riesling
The
2006 Riesling grapes were allowed to ripen a little longer than our usual
Riesling crops and this has resulted in the development of more stone
fruit aromas and hints of apricot. A perfect marriage for the oysters
harvested in the waters directly in front of the restaurant or with the
delicate sweet fillets of Tasmanian flat head fish.
