To find Coal Valley Vineyard from Hobart, drive out over the Tasman Bridge on Highway B3 on the way to the airport. Follow the road signs to Cambridge, Richmond and the Coal River Valley Wine Touring Region on highway B31. Turn left at Cambridge along Richmond Road (B31) and 2kms along on your right hand side is a long gravel driveway that will take you to the quiet, secluded site overlooking the vines that is the Coal Valley Vineyard.
