The vineyard
The Coal Valley Vineyard is on a steep to very steep north facing slope and includes about three hectares of Pinot Noir. The soil is light sandy loam on a sandstone base.

Veraison started in the Pinot around the 3rd of February this year and in the Cabernet just five days later so we are expecting an early vintage.
