Coal Valley Vineyard Blanc de Noirs 2009 Vintage
GOLD MEDAL and INTERNATIONAL JUDGE'S TROPHY
Tasmanian Wine Show 2012

Awarded by Tom Stevenson
$39/bottle or $210/pack of six
Made with pristine fruit from our Barilla Bay block of Pinot Noir grapes. Methode Champenoise. On lees for 24 months. Luscious strawberry palate. Just the two of us picked the Pinot for this sparkling - a very long day but the fruit tasted delicious and promised a delicious wine.

Tom Stevenson's comments on this wine:
"... a fine next-generation Tasmanian sparkling wine, with its classic lean structure, fine acids and long, delicate finish gently supported by the silkiest mousse of minuscule bubbles. It is a truly serious sparkling wine and sets the bar for the future. "
