Hi there, thanks for dropping in!  Here at Coal Valley Vineyard we are a happy bunch of local people who, put simply, love what we do.

It’s impossible not to when our ‘office’ has the most breathtakingly beautiful views of the Coal River Valley; our relatively small 5 hectare vineyard is lovingly cared for by hand; our wines aren’t just ‘made’, they evolve through their journey from vineyard to bottle; and we have a real desire to share all of this with you.

We are perfectly located just 15 minutes’ drive from the Hobart CBD, 10 minutes from Hobart Airport, at the start of the wonderful Coal River Valley wine route.

Drop in and share a minute, hour or more sampling our beautiful wines, have a bite to eat, relax and let our inviting little piece of paradise take you away to another world.  We’re sure that you will never want to leave.
